Episode 72: Georgina Pazcoguin

Georgina Pazcoguin started taking ballet lessons when she was 4 and when she was a teenager she was accepted into the School of American Ballet, not an easy feat. On the other hand, when I went to the High School of Performing Arts for drama, in dance class, Ms. Trigg wondered how anyone so petit could be such a klutz. Georgina wound up becoming a soloist with the NYC Ballet, butting heads with long-time Director Peter Martins. We talk about the tightly-wound world of ballet, dancing nude in Oh! Calcutta! and Georgina’s tell-all book Swan Dive.
