Carole Zimmer has covered politics, the United Nations, women's issues, business and the economy. She has been a reporter at the NBC and CBS Radio networks, National Public Radio and Bloomberg News. Following the World Trade Center attacks in 2001, Carole travelled to Pakistan to report on the run-up to the bombing campaign in Afghanistan. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award for her documentary “Stalking a Silent Killer,” the 2014 New York Press Club Special Reporting Award for her series “Emerging Economies Race to Compete,” which explores strategies for growth in Myanmar and Ethiopia and the 2015 Excellence in Financial Journalism Award for her series “Fall Down, Turnaround: Pivotal Moments in American Business.”
