Women Vets Find Stress Relief at a Zen Monastery.

Only 10 percent of American forces see combat. Still, the U.S. now has the highest rate of post-traumatic stress disorder in its history. And according to recent studies, women have a higher risk of developing PTSD than men. I attended a retreat called Honoring the Path of the Warrior held at a Zen monastery in northern California that that takes an unusual approach to helping veterans cope with their problems.
